Double Barrel Roasters (DBR) was started by a couple of guys who shared a love and passion for one thing, COFFEE! They decided to then put their extensive business experiences together as well as vast knowledge of coffee and create DBR. As somewhat of “coffee snobs” we realized that one thing Westchester County was missing was a nice micro-roaster of exotic coffees from around the world.

Roasting began on a 5lb pound Javamaster coffee roaster in one of the partners basements in Mount Vernon, NY. Another partner was a current coffee trader and importer at the time working for one of the largest brokerage houses in the Country. This gave DBR an instant advantage in the marketplace for offering unique specialty coffee to the public. Relationships were already established at all the major coffee growing regions in the world. These farms and wonderful people are still supported today by DBR's business.

 

The coffee and service was an instant hit and a breathe of fresh air for the coffee consuming community. DBR quickly graduated to a 5,000 square foot warehouse in Yonkers, NY with a huge upgrade to keep up in demand. DBR was placed intoo many local favorite establishments and hot stops. Double Barrel currently manages hundreds of wholesale clients across the tri-state area. In addition to our wonderful popular coffees, DBR also provides full service equipment and marketing for all of their locations.
